G84- Face Rigid Tapping. Main using T11-15 or T20’s. Sub using T30’s fixed.
The OitF machines use a Servo/Spindle motor for Cross and T30’s live
Tools. In Servo mode a G184 cycle can also be used and is recommended
In place of the following for Rigid Tapping.

G84 X(U)__C(H)__Z(W)__R__P__F__
R= Distance from intial Point to R Point
P= Dwell time at bottom of Hole. Not sure if required.
F= Feedrate in IPM(G98) or IPR(G99)

Note: must be in G99 mode
Note: G0,G1,G2 or G3 Cancel G84

On Oitf Parameter 5302 X1 came set at 0. This caused the Rigid tap to
stall at the bottom and not complete with no alarms.
We changed this to 500 and problem disappeared.

Parameter 5214, 5216 and 5217 are error windows for Rigid tap.
May need to increase these by about 20 if alarms occur.

If you receive a 741 alarm before the tap enters the hole, then you
can set the parameter to 0 and the error check is not made.

I received Rigid Tap DI/DO alarm if Spindle not started before M29
